- What has happened in the book that seems important to the story?
What seems important that as happend in the story so far is when Katniss yells out Peeta's name because this year there can be two winners then when she sees the bloold steks and then when she find him.Also when she helps him by cleaning him up because he was camofloging in the mud and he was coverd in leafs, and branches.Also with the oozing pus and blood out of peeta's leg wich I think that is important too because it can effect Peeta and his mobility.What I think is problly the most important thing that happens in these chapters is when Katniss kisses Peeta even though it was kinda to make him shut up I think that it is important because it swiches the hole star- crossed- lovers because she pushed Peeta in to that furn tree because he said that he loved her and then she kisses him. I think that that is weird. Also when Haymich sent her the broth and how she knew what Hatmich was trying to say that one kiss equals a pot of broth and when she kisses Peeta awake so I think that she will try to keep kissing Peeta so that she could keep them a live wich is kinda using him and sweet but mostly using him. Like when she was kissing him so that he could eat.
What also seems important to the book is when they announce the feast and when Katniss gives Peeta the sleep medican so that she could go.
Yeah I agree. I was scared when Katniss went to the Cornucopia. I also felt horrible when she had to hold Peeta's mouth and nose shut just to get him to swallow the sleep syrup.
ReplyDeleteIf you ask me I think they did a bit to much kissing. Kissing here, kissing there, kissing, kissing everywhere. It's like we get the point!! When I read the part where Katniss was going to go to the Cornucopia I got sooo scared! I was like "no Katniss! Don't do it!!" but..of course she didn't listen to me. Haha. I loved how you put the movie trailer! It's so cool! I get all excited every time I watch the trailer, even if I've seen it a thousand times already! Haha.
ReplyDeleteYour response makes me wonder what "The Hunger Games" would be like without the romance. I wonder if it would have the same level of popularity without it. I doubt it. I feel like the love triangle between Katniss, Gale and Peeta is quite similar to the one that exists in the Twilight Saga.
ReplyDeleteHaha I really liked your blog post. If you were Peeta would you be selfish and let Katniss get you the medicine or just let yourself die? If I were Peeta i would let Katniss get the medicine only because i would trust her enough and believe in her that she comes back safe. But if i didn't let her she would have probably still drug me so that i go to sleep! I wonder what Peeta will think when Katniss comes back, will he be mad at her or will he be just happy that she brought the medicine? We shall find out!
