'' The Hunger Games ''Ch.16-18





  • What has happened so far that has changed your perspective about a character?
What has happened to change my perspective about a character is when Rue died it changed my perpective about Katniss because I didn't know how much Katniss had a heart besides about Prim and her mother and Gale because when she sees Rue in the net the boy from district 1 was the first person that she killed by shooting a arrow thur his neck. Which tells me that she dose care very deep inside by singing that song to her before Rue died and then she covered by the flowers.Which is why that scene changed my perspective about Katniss.

What I think that this qoute means is that Peeta does not like the captiol because all the captiol want is a show like what Gale said in the benning of the book before Katniss went to the''Hunger Games''.Also that hes more than what the audince sees on the screen that hes more than some one that kills other people that he has a heart(as we all know since he told the hole of Panem in his interview)and that he is a nice person.

      I really enjoyed reading your blog post. I agree with you about how much Katniss had a heart for Rue because earlier in the book it said tat Katniss was pretending that Rue was like Primm. There is only a little bit of grammar problems but other then that i really liked it.

      Great job Natalie! You did a magnificent job on your blogpost and I loved reading every bit. I definitely agree with you about Katniss' hidden love and I feel so bad that she had to loose her only friend in the Games so quickly. I think she will probably be more vicious and less forgiving as she seeks for Rue's revenge, yet behind her hatred she will still show love. As I read of Rues death I couldnt help but cry and when Katniss surrounded her with flowers, it made me realize how much Katniss cares. I also really liked your interpretation of the quote and I too think that Peeta isn't quite fond of the Capitol, but of corse I don't blame him! You did great at putting your thoughts in to words with only a few grammatical errors. Keep up the good Work!!!
